Hi folks, I was looking for modded versions of different castlevanias and I stumbled upon a reddit post that pointed to a list of randomizers. Did any of you tried it yet? I've saw a Sotn Relic Randomizer and other things. It was a bit tricky to setup at first, but the game went well. It was an interesting twist, but I was more interested on the addresses of relic locations and they way that was used to randomize the relics. It would be nice if Monsters and Equipments were randomized as well, but it's what we have for now. I would like to put on the modding section, but since it include multiple platforms and titles (including non-castlevania ones) , I'm dropping the list here :
They currently have mods for the following Castlevania games:
* Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
* Super Castlevania IV
* Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Randomizes relics - Requires Python 2 and PS1 2352 image EDC/ECC recalculator - Game data to patch should be named Castlevania - Symphony of the Night (USA) (Track 1).bin
* Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
* Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow / Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin / Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

Just imagine to encounter several (4-5) bosses at once Or a duel against a team of Alu-Maria, Richter-Maria or Alu-Richter.
Games that do not give me desired characters playable, or that have single playable character are not worth my time.

alternativel: hey just thought I'd ask here, is there any way to replace sprites in Rondo of Blood (TurboGrafx version, more precisely a .Bin .Cue version)? I just thought it would be cool using the custom Ritcher sprite from Serio and his team

TheLV: Yes, it is possible, if you wanna deal with segmented 16x16/16x32 sprites then go on, but I don't know how or if it is possible change the colors of X sprite, anyways, here's the proof

TheLV: Welcome kanashimi ! Besides the ol'reliable hex editor, you can use some utilities from RHDN like Stake by Dan for the OG Castlevania 1 or reVamp by +daniel+ for Cv3/AD, for further assistance, create a thread in the NES section, characters limit reached.
