Yoko Belnades.. it is possible? her sprite is in the game, I know it's not that simple .. AoS ingame sprite is useless, it lack battle animations. So to make Yoko be playable there, you have two options: 1) make custom sprite out of what she have in AoS, 2) try to edit DoS sprites of hers to fit into AoS more or less. Not tryin to say its impossible, but both options are lots of hard work.

(Soma) If you want to edit AoS, start with DS vania, YY chr, APE & any picture editor you like (I use IrfanView, but photoshop or Paint-net would do too). And of course VBA emulator. If you understand Asian languages, also try crystal tile. But if you wanna make your own custom set sprites, ask artists, like JoP or Vedora. They have knowlege about it, I do not.

For simple works I suggest Paint, that is an awesome tool but fr better works asprite or photoshop is the right way, you can check this videos i made a long time ago: castlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/77/sprites-video-works This can give you ideas for the way you can change Soma for Yoko, remember to use 15 colors max.
