I would still love to voice act one of your character if you are still interested in having voice actors for this amazing project. I still personal hope this gets made. I'd need you to send a voice sample ok that's fine but I need you to be more specific about what you are looking for.

Sub-Weapons are different in this game because you don't get them instead you have a Shotgun that can be aimed in 8 directions(or free aim) and you collect different ammo types for it. Don't worry there will be a classic mode with the old Sub-weapons for anyone who doesn't like the Shotgun.
Ammo Types 1: Silver Stake 2: Ricochet Bullets 3: Grenade 4: Incendiary 5: Salt Shot 6: Cryo Rounds

ok so I can't afford to commission the models for this right now so I'm gonna start Prototyping Using ready made assets this means I will be unable to show progress since i don't want this project to get shut down I'll start taking screen shots of my progress when I have the actual models for the game. Until then I'll be making text posts like this.

So my idea being for each bullet type that you get your gun also switches. Like for silver bullets you could have a revolver. Something like that where every time you switch to a different bullet type you actually pick up a different gun. If you did holy water you could have it as a water gun.

Depending upon what Contra gun you're using they have different firing rates. That can even be seen by playing the game that some of the guns you can pick up in Contra are actually slower than others. But if you actually play Contra you can actually see that they give you few lives to balance that out. So you could go and have it to where the enemies are harder if you were going to go that route. Also to be honest you could just make the other guns as slow as the shotgun. It is a video game after all. It's not real life it's not like this character is in real life and running around using firearms and a whip to kill evil. You don't actually have to make the other firearms have a faster fire rate than the shotgun. It's not a problem that can't be worked around. This issue could be easily remedied I'm sure.

Answers to Questions I was never asked
Q:Why a Castlevania game set in the 80's?
A:Because I love the 80's and I love Castlevania so I thought of a good enough story to work as a prequel to the demon castle war.
Q:Why Stage based instead of Metroidvania?
A:I wanted to focus on a veriety of different 80's style locations if I had done a Metroidvania the whole game would've taken place in the castle thus losing the reason to set the game in the 80's.
Q:Why did you decide to go with 3D models instead of sprites?
A:3D models are easier to work with and more cost effective. Plus by using 3D models now I can learn what I need to know for my remake of Castlevania Legacy of Darkness and other future projects.
Q:Can the story of this game be considered canon to the story of Castlevania?
A:Yes there is nothing in the story that would contradict anything that happens in Aria or Dawn of Sorrow. But it has some elements that give a better insight to what make Julius the way that he is.
Q:How'd you come up wth the design for Alexander Belmont?
A:Alexander's design is based off of a picture of my Dad from the 80's
Q:Why are you working on the project alone?
A:Because I was unable to find anyone who wanted to help
Q:When do you think this game will be out?
A:It's hard to say since getting the models themselves could take more then 2 years but I'd like to have the game done by 2026 at the most.
Q:If the game is successful what will you do?
A:Well first I'd go to Konami show them the success of the game and then ask to Remake Castlevania Legacy of Darkness as a commercial product if they agree and my success continues I'd make 2 more Castlevania Games one about the Demon Castle War and one called the End of Castlevania both would be 3D Metroidvanias. But if they say no then I'll Remake Legacy of Darkness in my own time and move on to my own IP's.
Q:Why did you get into game design?
A:It's just what I've always wanted to do ever since I was a kid
Q:Why make a Castlevania fan game instead of something else?
A"Well I love Castlevania and Konami seem to be more accepting of fan games then other companies.
Q:Will your game be easy to make mods for?
A:I'm not sure at the moment although I'd like to keep my games open to modding.
Q:Do you have a background in game design
A:No I haven't been able to find work in game design yet and I can't afford to go to college so I've been teaching myself how to do stuff. And well it's very difficult but I'm determined to make games so I'll keep to it no matter what.
Q:Why the name poll?
A:Well originally I wanted to call the game Castlevania Synthwave of Destruction but the more I thought about it the more I became unsure so I decided to make a list of names and ask what people liked the most.
Q:Will there be pre release betas?
A:Yes since I don't have a team I'll need to publicly test the game to see if it's too easy, too hard, not fun enough, Unbalenced, or Broken.
Q:Will there be extra modes where you play as another character?
A:I'm open to the Idea but I'd like to focus on getting the main game done before i consider adding extra content.
Q:You mentioned before that if you worked for Konami you'd make 3 more Castlevania games but do you have these planed out or are they just concepts?
A:Well the Remake of Castlevania Legacy of Darkness was my first Idea so I've had that one planed out for years. As for the other two the Demon Castle War is just a concept right now but the End of Castlevania is something i thought of a week ago and it's story is progessing in my mind I have a begining and an end aswell as full cast of characters all i'll say about the story is it takes place 20 years after Dawn of Sorrow and it 100% ends the story of Dracula and Castlevania without retreading anything that happens in Aria or Dawn of Sorrow.
