To mod music in CV DXC/PSP SOTN you need... 1. UMD gen (https://www.psx-place.com/threads/umd-gen-4-00.10340/) 2. Game uses AT3 music files, so you need converting tools for it. There are various ways. Your main problem IS LOOP. If you wanna make CUSTOM loop, study this (http://www.goldwave.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3056). Many people still unable to properly lunch it for various reasons. Other way: use this (https://www.psx-place.com/resources/at9-at3-converter.566/). Second is way simplier & should work for every PC. BUT! You will need to make custom loop with something else (normaly, your track will auto repeat after it fully plays, so do not worry too much). With second tool you transform MP3 to AT3 in seconds. 3. Foobar tool can play AT3, so you can check music inside ISO (https://www.foobar2000.org/). 4. Songs & music of your choice! If you use YouTube, use this site (https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/mp3-converter), just past YT link & get MP3 file! Now, the process. Open DXC ISO in UMD gen & exctract FULL GAME. PSP folder is DXC, PS is SOTN. SOTN contain music in TWO folders. snd_e & sound. Music in PS_BGM folder. You HAVE to replace music in both (actually that is DUMB way of duplicating data, since game is dual audio one lol). DXC contain music files in bgm folder. So extract those & use foobar to play AT3 files to know what is what first. Replace files IN EXTRACTED GAME, NOT IN UMD GEN! Otherwise you can get bugs & size problems! After you replace what you wanted, open EMPTY umd gen, drag & drop there your EDITED ISO & make a new one with SAVE option! Happy modding!

So here is a little summary of the at3 files and their contents (the file currently cover both the music files from the BGM folder and the audio files from the XA folder on the English version) mega.nz/#!g1cDRaaB!SLnbuMKCPNCL-Hu3SXK_DlNp0JwXbs8dxoly0BtONvY Also, i here is the SONY's official ATRAC3 plus encoder mega.nz/#!l1lxVCpA!ANqDXxkez1kou88E_9dwYGRX86vxABVFWRSG8qgg5PQ This one is command line only, but one of its comands lets you edit loop without recurring to external tools.

This will be very useful for those who want to start modding DXC, you should sticky this topic in my opinion.

I tried using the other one, but the pitch always changes the pitch of the music. I tried it again an hour later, but now it stopped working. It creates the .wav file and the .at3 file, but the .at3 is 0kb and is complete silence when I try to play it.

Did you put file you want to convert in same folder with tool (EXE file of converter should be in one flder with MP3 file)? If those are in different places, tool not working. Also try different MP3 just in case. Also you can configure music before you convert, I always set 64 bitrate{kbps} .

Still out of pitch. Also, I forgot to mention, I'm only playing them in the program's audio player rather than porting the at3s into the game files. Does the pitch correct itself if I put it in the game?
