Mark tracks you want to extract, then set $T or $P in second option. Work for me.

how extrat in Wav format ? Sappy cannot do that. It can make a .mid file though. You have to manually make conversion yourself, if you need other formats. But you will still need .mid format in the end. MP3, AT3 etc not gonna work in GBA games.

Harmony of Dissonance because with the tutorials that exist, I do not understand anything '-' Nope, I never converted music into .MID, only swapped between GBA games, which not require conversion. You may have to use hex edition & find free space in ROMs to insert music, otherwise there is size problem when importing your music over existing one. It not works to just convert & import into game. Also sappy can import tracks, not mid file either. Sappy insert an s file (s file can be converted by mid2agb from mid, extracted by sappy), which can be obtained with mid2agb tool. You can try to make MID files with anvil studio tool, in case you import non gba music. It can take ALOT of time

As I am me pointed out you would have to expand the rom to make it bigger since its best to have extra room for your new music so it does not overlap with another one, like for instance if you replaced the first level's music with one from another game than chances are that music track is going to overlap with the next track and thus mess it up which is why its best to make room. Follow this link here for step by step instructions on how to do this, its the exact same method I use for my music hacking www.feshrine.net/hacking/Fire%20Emblem%20Music%20Hacking%20Tutorial.pdfAnd if english is not your first language you can copy the text from that link and use google translate on it but to be honest the step by step tutorial is very long so be prepared to spend some hours getting the hang of it. Also just a tip regarding music hacking chances are its not going to sound exactly like you would want it to since even with new tracks imported you still have to use the same instruments that the game uses so pretty much your going to have to tinker with the track's instruments to make sure they sound to your liking but do not expect for a say Castlevania symphony of the night track to sound exactly the same in Harmony of Dissonance since it would have no choice but to adopt the instruments supported by that game.
