I created two swords with the H2O element. I haven't figured out how to make an MP max but I'm working on it Thats nice ! eager to see those 2 in action ! one additional quality of life suggestion: remove the randomness of stats upon level up and give the best outcome possible. some people save scum a lot trying to get the best possible level up, which would be +1 for each stat (STR/CON/INT/LCK) and +5 for MP . Hearts and HP are not needed to change because they get non-random values (+2 each level for Hearts and HP varies based level-range) Just registered and logged in to put my two cents on this particular thing, if it's okay? While I like what you're suggesting, I'd also like it if the HP gains from leveling remained consistent throughout the whole game. Like, for example, the amount of HP earned per level could be 8, Portrait of Ruin/Order of Ecclesia style. I think this would be a good start to making Symphony of the Night less of a cakewalk. No more having 2k+ HP lol

Likewise, for this, then 4k+ HP or 9k+ HP would be a challenge...

No more having 2k+ HP lol that's interesting idea but then the mode where you have 99 luck and all the rest of the stats are at 1 at the beginning would have to be made harder as well

Its possible to beat even if starting with 0 HP , not leveling up and relying only on HP Max Ups (that would be around 235-240 hp if I'm not wrong at maximum). Of course, today this can only be done either mods or GS/cheat engine codes to be something like of a 'level 1' run.
Alternatively , monsters can be buffed up and let the HP scaling as it is today. I've had some fun with a run with 5x stronger monsters and randomized resistances , but doubled LV/EXP . I was able to do it via the Zerox tool + an autoit script to randomize the clicks on the tool . I dont have much experience with coding, but it was a good fun for me

This is some pretty awesome stuff man. I hope you get to see it through all the way. We need an extensive hack of SOTN. Not just quality fixes and difficulty revs.

Hey man since you're messing around with tile editing I was wondering if you could help me with something. Would you be able to tell me which bytes I'd need to edit in order to just delete the 2 blocks that form the platform that you can stand on to stunlock Galamoth's head ? Would be a neat little decheese for my KindAndFair mod

I have tried several different methods of trying to get this game to run on my psp. First was PSX2PSP to create Eboot with game ID as folder name. Second was Imaler Eboot maker. 3rd was UMDGen to open DXC and replace old SOTN with new one. 4th was using Bin2Iso to make .iso of game and run in iso folder. Closest to getting game to run was first method but when starting the game, it just goes to a black screen of infinity, no psp load up, no splash screen, nada. Impaler failed to make proper eboot at all. Successfully made iso that doesn't show up on psp screen at all. is it possible the game just isn't compatible with PSP? I hope not. But alas, all of my efforts to get the game to run have come to naught. I work full time now so I don't get enough time to tinker with romhacking anymore. Can anyone help me make this work?
BTW - I have version 1.5.1 from facebook already successfully extracted. Tried all of the methods listed on both normal and facilitated versions without use of any of the other included patches.
