Hello all! I am wondering if it might be possible for someone to make a new and improved mod of Castlevania: Dracula X for the Super NES? I know many will just say "Go play Rondo of Blood instead, it's a way better game!" And you're right it is, but even still I always found the Super NES Dracula X to be an intriguing game. But the game is just mired with bad controls, and an overreliance on cheap deaths, such as medusa heads everywhere and pitfalls. Is there any way anyone could modify this game to give it a better play experience? I feel there's potential here that the game could actually be very good, but the developers were just lazy and didn't put much effort into this port.
Is there any way someone could create a "Definitive Edition" to this game with maybe better animated sprites, better controls, and have the levels reworked so as not to rely on simply cheap deaths? I know Dracula X will never be on par with Rondo of Blood, still I'd like to see this game get more love!

Oh wow! I didn't realize that. Just makes me realize how much games have changed since 1991 when the Super NES was released.
