my game despite opening it stays on a black screen I believe it has to do with my video card being integrated I would like to know if there is something I can try

hello, I'm just trying the mod and it's wonderful, the problem is that when the innocent demon levels up, every so often it creates devil shard, sometimes in less than 5 seconds, is there any way to solve that? since sometimes it is a bit tedious

Birth Egg does create a Devil Shard whenever the I.D. is using a synergy powered-up move. Replace it with something else. The artifact at the top of the list is the one that's active.

I know in the PDF file included you said it wouldn't work with the 1.7.X release currently but would you consider releasing another version when the stable release of 1.7.0 of PCSX2 is out? The mod runs well enough but I do have the occasional slowdown or graphical bug. And I am sure it isn't the mod since the same thing happens when I run my unmodded ISO.

Hello, so I just made an account to write this message, because I liked your Curse of Darkness mod so far, but I do have something to criticize which ended up being the reason I stopped playing the mod and won't continue it, probably. So you made the Tower of Eternity mandatory, which is a cool idea, but the enemy placement inside the Tower and even before that in the Forest is literally like a cruel joke, the level 50 enemies at the beginning and the middle of the forest weren't so bad, even though they caught me by surprise the first time and I got a very surprising Game Over which was unexpected, but I also got a good laugh from that and so did the level 80 red basilisk enemies that oneshot me, the enemies were stronger, but at least you could also level up faster, which made for an interesting dynamic that some enemies forced me to retreat/just run through. My real complaint is in the Tower though, which literally killed the mod for me personally. The fleaman type enemies that deal easily over 100 damage are annoying, especially because you can just get bodied and lose a bunch of time you spent on the Tower because you got unlucky.. not something I like, but there are enough strats with the Golem ID that make it not as bad. (still I dislike the idea) But the thing that made me stop were the random level 50 dragon riders in the Tower, and then you kill them and more of them spawn.. (all of what I described was on the normal difficulty btw) I guess it was intended to be exactly this way, which is fine, then it is probably just not for me, even though I liked a lot of the additions and changes that the mod brought to the game, thank you for the work you put into this, because I did have a lot of fun, before the Tower!

The fleamen are easily defeated with the Spear's windwheel finisher, which can be extended by simply holding O, and it doesn't consume much MP either. There is infinite counterplay to the Skeleton Riders: using Focus, using dragonbane weapons such as Kris Naga +1 or Dragon Killer +1 or spamming Ares Ring + Explosion with a fist-type weapon or you could use Synergy Bone Shot with your Bird I.D.. You can also stunlock Skeleton Riders with Spike Shield or with Fundamentals + Perfect Guard. You have infinite ways of recovering MP and on top of that, up to 5 Mana Prisms.
All you need is a bit of strategy, that's all. At that point with Flea Men where you will probably end up having around 350 to 400 HP while also being able to revive up to 3 times, 100 damage is not a big deal, unless you got spoiled by SotN. I have tested the game countless times on Super Crazy mode and Bloody Tears mode without getting a single game over, I'm sure others can complete Normal mode with all the new options I've given them, since there's counterplay for everything. The game's general difficulty is higher, but the player also has an infinite arsenal of new moves to use. If you think this is too difficult, you probably lack practice and experimenting with stuff. I have changed like 3 floors in the Tower of Eternity, I'm sure you can endure 3 floors of enemies which are also found outside of the tower most of the time. The only difference is that you have to survive through multiple hordes, but that's easily done with Aegis Stone + Fundamentals for free full healing when you face easy enemies and breaking candles for Soul Hearts, which give +20 MP each at that point of the game. EDIT: Thinking about this, a thing I can do is to make it possible to lower the difficulty at any time.

Hi, loving your CoD mod so far, but encountered a problem when using an old save from the previous version before 2.0.0, once i loaded my save the character has lvl 99 and exp values are at 45k+ it goes higher with each enemy killed, it was much lower and hector doesn't seem to get more level ups, in fact, the save selection screen shows lvl 27 until i get into the game, do you know if there is any fix for this?
game difficulty is Super crazy
Edit: So with more testing, ID leveling seems to be fine, and if i start the game without the mod Hector has the correct lvl, xp values remain the same, and "next" is on the screen this time. Also tried getting enough experience for a lvl up before activating the mod, but it doesn't work

You get to choose the level cap at the start of a new game, but since you played a version that never asked for a level cap before, it defaults to 1. There is a simple way to revert that. Activate the mod, load your level 27 file and THEN go to the Lua Engine window. There, write down: writeBytes(PCSX2ADD+0x20AED59A, 99)
writeInteger(PCSX2ADD+0x20AEFAD8, 27) Then execute it. This will set the level cap to 99 and set your current level back to 27. If you're still having issues contact me on my Discord server!
