Hello all. It has been a while since my last post. I have been looking into how to improve upon replacing the music in AOS and/or HOD for a while now. I thought of a simpler way to get almost exact game quality music while importing new midi through sappy. Honestly I am surprised I have never read about anyone else doing it before. I have compiled a detailed outline of the instruments, exactly as they appear in Anvil Studio, for every song in AOS, in the order they appear in SAPPY. What this does, is allow the modder, using this outline as a reference, to change the instruments of any midi to the same instruments already used in the original soundbank, so that when they assemble the song in SAPPY, the new song will sound the same style, and possibly the same quality, as the original. And they no longer need to edit any voice tables. This makes the process of importing better quality midi much simpler and faster. I sincerely hope that this helps anyone else hoping to change songs in future hacks. Thank you for reading and have fun. AOS Instruments Anvil Studio.txt (3.23 KB)

did you not realize that many of the songs changes instruments throughout the songs?
you also didnt note what any of the instruments actually freakin' do.
Before you give me any of that "I'm 30 and modding these for fun", like you have twice, maybe try going more thoroughly first.
For example, Bird Tweet is actually the drum track for most, if not all songs.
