Some months ago I start ro play pokemmo a mmo game that work over the original pokemon cartridges, literally you download the launcher, load a 12mb pokemon emerald ROM and BOOM you enter in to Hoen region with other thousands of players surrounding you, and the game can load all the DS and GBA pokemon cartridges. And some weeks ago I see that there's a pokemon mistery dungeon that use the exact same idea, download the launcher load one of the DS or GBA mystery dungeon ROMS and BOOM now you're a pokemon surrounded by thousands of players. My point is not call for a DSvania MMO because God know what kind of black magic those people make to push forward those pokemon mmo games, and if we nearly can make good rom hacks think about a whole mmo game, but imagine how wonderfull will be get in DoS and fight a boss with your friends, using customized hunters and the weapons and gear from all the 3 DS games. Make like the PokeMMO's events, special bosses, unique weapons and gear, hunter quests for knock down some specific monster like monster hunter and chase him through the caste, make guilds, hunter ranking, weappm modifications, vanity contests etc.

Recycling all the content from all the DSvania games, and allowing you to use a paradigm player per each different character in the games with an option for change the sprites. And you can go from castle to castle completing each game "history" and helping your low level friends. Something like harmony of despair but mmo and more free. Life with out something like this is soooooo miserable :"(

Like 8 or 10 year ago was a project that i work heping them, it was called Castlevania Online, you can play with 8 in one area that if you want you can create, i make tons of areas for that project and add new characters (you can add new ones too), but Kotai the main developer say that he was going to update the programm because its a good game but have limitations but i like it a lot, actually i start my youtube channel because of his project, but in the end he never relase an update and i lost interest, most of my videos i play alone because recodring and playing give me tons of problems that time, any way here is a video: and my playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMeONOh3XtrOeFbItzFyn4u-61oTjBTDFif you write Castlevania Online and Kotai perhaps you can see some online gameplays and can see how was the idea, take in mind i think its not how you want a online castlevania but you can see that someone try to do one a long time ago

Yes i know the project I even downloaded it like 3 years ago... but indont know why most of levels are bugged and the collides are broken, I even make a resized ky kiske Sprite for an original character. But the platforms doesn't work properly and the controls were not the best ones... but yeah I really appreciate the original idea

Both official & fan attempts at huge multiplayer CV projects got never finished. CV online need bug fixes, while Harmony utterly lack content. Like 6-8 characters for a multiplayer game? Laughable. Not even a single villain was payable there. Let alone controllable bosses, which is a must for such project. Best alternative we have is Castlevania Fighter - highest quality CV fan game ever made.

Yeah I am me is right and the only Castlevania game that was multiplayer that you could say successful because people were playing online for a while there but really wasn't successful would be Castlevania Harmony of Despair yes this game is on a console but was still made for the purpose of playing it online and not playing it by yourself but of course I have it and play it by myself on my PlayStation 3 whenever my brother is interested in playing that game together then I end up playing it with him online when I actually can
