Hey everyone, 'tis me here with another guide that may hopefully be of help to fellow modders. May the information contained therein be of aid to all! So, first things first, grab (or download, if you must) your usual hex editing program like HxD. Then, after starting up the hex editing program of your choice, open the Aria of Sorrow ROM that you wish to edit. Now, go to offset 33DB8. This should be your view when you get to it: Okay, now allow me to explain the values I have highlighted in red (which BTW, translates exactly to vanilla Aria of Sorrow starting stats, so bonus points in now knowing what default values look like!): Offsets 33DB8 and 33DBA: These two offsets, by default A0 and 40 respectively, affect starting HP, although the latter offset is... interesting. For the former offset, its simply a matter of setting in what value you want, from 00 to FF. The latter offset... is a bit picky. From what I have tested so far, setting that offset to 20 sets a x1 multiplier on 33DB8 (leading to 160 HP with default 33DB8 value), the default 40 sets a x2 multiplier (leading to vanilla 320 HP with default 33DB8 value), 80 sets a x4 multiplier (leading to 640 HP with default 33DB8 value), and C0 sets a x8 multiplier (leading to 1280 HP with default 33DB8 value). Any other value, from what I've seen in testing, sets starting HP to 0. Offset 33DBE: This offset, by default 50, affects starting MP, and works exactly like offset 33DB8, so again, set your value anywhere from 00 to FF if you wish to change starting MP. Offset 33DC2: This offset, by default 0A, affects starting STR, and works exactly like offset 33DB8, so see instructions regarding offset 33DBE for how to change. Offset 33DC6: This offset, by default 0C, affects starting CON, and works exactly like offset 33DB8, so see instructions regarding offset 33DBE for how to change. Offset 33DCA: This offset, by default 0B, affects starting INT, and works exactly like offset 33DB8, so see instructions regarding offset 33DBE for how to change. Offset 33DCE: This offset, by default 09, affects starting LCK, and works exactly like offset 33DB8, so see instructions regarding offset 33DBE for how to change.

(Souls and Item Drops) I want LCK to be very very significant!

However, I do know about this on ROMHacking.net: www.romhacking.net/hacks/5645/This provides three patches, one of which that buffs LCK with the intent of it being more meaningful on a per-point basis, though as I stated in the review I left on there, I didn't find it to be too noticeable in my runs. Your mileage may vary, though

Interesting info, I'd like to ask a thing somehow related, is there any guide to edit level caps in AoS?
