Go past the clown and It's balloon if you wish to skip my explanation for why I made this mod.
My top favorite thing to do when I am by myself is to think. Politics, world events, history, video games, TV shows, etcetera. Which is why I prefer to relax the ol' noggin by playing a mindless and easy video game.
Of these, my top favorite is to prevent Castlevania characters from leveling up while at the same time giving them immortality. Just button-mash the enemies to death without ever worrying about dying. Most fun way for me to recharge my brainmeat after a heavy load of thinking!
This is why I was happy to discover a cheat code for Dawn of Sorrow that prevented Soma from ever leveling up. Jackpot!
Unfortunately, some enemies later on in the game became far too resilient and took to many damn hits to die. That killed the fun and made the whole thing tedious. Fortunately, thanks to DSvania Editor, I was able to make this hack. Now all I have to do is switch the equipment back and forth depending on the area that I am in, and voila!
This patch has some items boost Soma's stats quite dramatically. Each of the five Studs dramatically boost one of Soma's stats. There are two items that boost ALL of his stats the same way. There's also a couple of wearable items that only double what the Bloody and Turquoise Studs do for Soma. I'll leave you to find out which.

Dom Jurumela: I am Me Thanks, man. I'm just waiting for Dark Prince Alucard's response about changing his hack and I'll release it here as well, I hope you like it

Dom Jurumela: I released the link for my little adenddum for Dawn of Symphony, now with Richter original sprites. It's in the same post of the original hack, in GBA releases.

StarWyvern: Already got it, mind if I put that sprite in other custom hacks?

Dom Jurumela: No problemo, I would only ask you to credit me and Darth RPG for the sprites, as he ripped them and I edited them to fit Julius. Also, call me when you finish your projects, I would love to see them
