soma looks fine and death is good to btw i made a bigger door... in the furure i expect to change rooms and the map... if someone know please some help will be fine Well, I managed to make it work... kinda. AoS works in the same way that any NES game (8x8 tiles, 32x32 meta-tiles), you will have to break down SotN graphics in 8x8 tiles and then put em together in 32x32 tiles, you can do that with DSV alone, but that was the most boring and time consuming part. Dummy ROM with first screen and Alucard broken sprite (with soul steal anim). Alucard's sprite is broken in-game despite it looks good in darkfunction, now I know why, stick to 8x8 grid. Regarding the Alucard sprite issue I had similar issues with replacing the Julius Mode sprrites in DOS with the Trevor and Sypha ones from SOTN, I remember I was able to correct them by using DSvania's animation editor.

Currently the animations of the static characters say yoko aricado or mina do not worry me. I even thought about replacing julius with a girl belmont so as not to lose animation frames when I start to make a custom tileset. the problem would be with enemies of complex construction like the werewolf. But I'll worry about that later...

Ok after work a lot with the sprite editor i realize that i can do what ever i want with the weapons inside the limitations of the tilesets and I say way more thn just mod the sprite and the statistics, with the right stuff you can emulate almost any weapon that you want from any castlevania games. those characters are the main ones. the tall and pale is the modded soma his name is Rasiel Montecruz and is a clown that looks for a cure for his sister and himsef both cursed with a weird sicknes that make your body cobered by thornvines. The little girl is Daniela a girl that you find wandering inside the castle and is a Richter-Maria fusion. the reason because i choose a child for the second maincharacter is because the size of julius. is to small and even if i start to mod the player and make it fit in SotN size i will lost a lot of quality in the animations... so make that player a kid is a very smart solution i think
