I don 't know if you 've asked this question before. If not, I have a question. You can fit 15 SotH locations (13 + 2 exclusive locations from the version on Sega Saturn)? And what about the upside down Castle?

And what about the upside down Castle? Unless you can add so many rooms, only option is reprogramming. Or editing & replace existing.

Sadly life sucks so this project is paused until I could find the time because is freaking hard do this. The only help I need right now is people with some skills in animation and a hell ton of patience for import sprites and mod the enemies. Right now is that what I'm focus most of the time changing rooms beside mod enemies is a piece of cake.
I don't need any help with the story thanks, but I appreciate some ideas for weapons and stuff... I want to recicle the behaviour of all the AoS weapons in original ways, like I turn Kaiser knuckle in the muramasa's special by only changing the size and the sprite. Same for the monsters there are way to many that I don't really like, like the Triton and the giant skull, I'm thinking in sprite a Minotaur chopped at halve with a giant axe.

And I appreciate to find a way to rearrange the rooms and the map, right now I'm only capable of mod the graphics and the platforms distribution inside.

The idea about the game is to split the castle in 2 because I don't think that a person can duplicate the size of the game's map in a GBA. So the idea is to make a shorter castle but doble, and do as HoD where you move between them. As the main character is the paranoia demon before turn totally insane is kind of nice that you can move between the normal castle and other in the paranoia world using mirrors (those are for teleport too). That was a thing that I was expecting in DoS the first time that i use that soul

And no one thing is take the graphics from SotN but I'm not thinking in copy the SoTN stages in the game, I don't want more SotN ports and less for a GBA, they have the chance with AoS and they waste the chance

How about a rifle or a revolver? I mean,considering that the main character is still Soma here

Yeah i wan't to include those kind of weapons in the game too... But no I only use Soma for compare the sizes screen-player player-monsters... The main character is an OC made by me... his idle sprite are in this thread
