In OoE it is just a still image reliying on sprite rotation/transformation, sprite rotation is possible in GBA, if you wanna go easy and "emulate" the movement just open the wing image in any photo editor and rotate/transform saving a few pics/frames (or just take screenshots of it in-game), then arrange the parts and animation in dark function.

Much easier way is to open flying armor sprites in GFX editor in DSV and click export GFX. Go into gfx folder in DSV folder. Frames exported seperately. Open with favorite paint type program. Open Shonoa's wings in same program. Copy and paste each frame over old ones. Open DSV. Go to sprite editor, find flying armor, Open in GFX editor, click import gfx, change palette to match. Whallah!

Yeap yo can do that with not to much trouble, but shanoa's wing don't have the same size of the armor, so you will need to fix the animator ot fix the wing sprites, for better results i recommend to fix it directly with a new tileset an mess a little the dark function content

Remove a few lines of pixels from the middle of the wings to make it smaller. Save after shrinking to correct size. Rename wings to same file name of flying armor exported from DSV GFX editor and replace. Import new sprite. Sadly no... I cannot make vid tutorials. My PC resources are limited. The only vid I have posted is on COVID topic, and looks terrible because it was taken on an old cell phone. closest I can do for you is say. google "get paint.net" When you open your sprite frames in photo viewer, click open with paint.net use magnifying glass tool to zoom sprite to comfortable level. Count how many BG squares are on sprite, replace with same size wings. Also get Grim Color Reaper tool for paint.net to remove BG color and make BG transparent.

You need to fix the sprite not just chop it. Unless you could fix the shape you loss with the lines you erase. Otherwise the final result will be not optimal. That's why I recommend this Take the tile erase all what is inside, take shanoa's wing cut it at halve and place it in thebtileset, then ho yo the Dark función txt, change the parts of the flying amor object. Fix the animator txt and that's it you will have exactly the same wings that shanoa's

OoE Wings (in-game, no outline) I could fit like 5-6 frames (resized) Palette All the tiles are 8x8, I don't remember the order tho. Only the .sprites file got reworked, not the .anim one 0825EAC4.anim (370 B) 0825EAC4.sprites (3.17 KB)

When you rescale a sprite you loss a ton of details in pixels try to keep the wings as they are and make a simple and clean 3 or 2 frames loop

I'm aware of that, you can only fit 3 frames at full size, and I'm not happy with that, it will looks bad like SCV4 with those cardboard sprites, that's why I went for small but smooth, and thats a lot of work for an skill that you will use only 2 times, that said, I'll not bother with sprite rotation ATM. Anyways, that OP thing, he has like 3 ideas of how to do it, cheap replacing the original 2 frames, big with less frames or small with more anims.

Actually I meant removing parts of relative look, that way you don't have to fix it, just make it smaller by removing some of the reused tiles. Plus that program I mentioned allows for zoom in/out and sprite rotation, and recolor tool. Although it has given me a few issues in the past. But I made a couple cool things happen with it. Say you have 3 lines of nothing but one solid color. Remove 2 lines top and bottom, leave middle. Sprite shrunk. Rinse. Repeat until reached desired result.
