Hello CastlevaniaModding forums. I've been working on this project alongside a bunch of good friends for several months now. Things are still a WIP but I will be sharing our progress here

Here are a bunch of WIP streamables and screenshots. I'll try to update the thread daily/weekly with our progress.

Depends on the weapons. Some have new crouch sprites slightly taller or shorter then the default Juste ones to keep from miss aligning if u mean just importing from another game its easy as renaming the files, reimporting in the new game, and fixing anything that gets destroyed manually within darkfunction.

Progress is going well! in all honesty I was gonna release an open beta yesterday but while putting some finishing touches on the rom I decided there was still too much that I wanted to get done before a release. Most of the game is re routed/remapped, the story is done, Juste has an entire armory of weapons, lots of re done souls and almost every track in the game has been replaced only 3 to go now which I wanna get done before a release too. I'm hopeful for a new years release but I cant say its 100% yet.

Edit: OH, I just saw you replaced the music. Is it music from Harmony of Dissonance? Like remixed songs and such?

I’ve been toiling away with trying to update my HoD Music Overhaul, and I plan on having an optional version that uses actual wav remixes (I say optional cause there are bugs to it).

At this moment there is only 1 track from HoD and it's successor of fate, Most of the new music is ported from OOE/POR with a few custom tracks from other games. Off the top of my head J-E-N-O-V-A from ff7, and in the final from Bowsers inside story are both boss themes, castle corridor from aria is also in the game, so is aria of the soul from persona. Id very much like ports of some more HoD songs to work with, simple ports like between the ds vanias are easy enough with ds sound studio but my bud Ben! handles porting raw midis and it can be very time consuming to get everything sounding right.

does the DS games use the mid files like AOS does if so I have a folder with some of the hod songs in it I could send you it also has some of the other Castlevania songs in it from different Castlevania video games too that you could use as well. I would just send you the link but let me know if you want the link and I'll send it to you ASAP.

My Castlevania Ninja hack is on the move again thank you to everyone who is helping me with this hack it's really appreciated

Music swapping is actually a little easier for the DS games than it was for GBA, thanks to Nitro Studio, Tinke, DS Sound Studio, and the like. With the proper mid files you can actually swap in the mid with no change to the way it sounds.
