OK back to the questions from myself. 1) Do you think if it's possible to add diagonal downward whip strikes to Julius given that Alucard already has a diagonal downward slash? 2) There's a problem present within the original game, when the Julius mode campaign is beaten, the bat symbol won't appear on the save file of Julius mode, which prevented Julius mode to be combined with hard mode. (Portrait of Ruin also has the problem while Order of Ecclessia didn't.) It's also not possible to start a fresh new game in hard mode (Portrait/Ecclessia style) which hurts. Do you think if it's possible to port these functions into Dawn of Sorrow? 3) Japanese version has considerable amount voice clips which were cut in the English version. Do you think if it's possible to port the cut JP voice clips back? 1. It might be possible, but I also don't want to sort of "devalue" Alucard's diagonal attack by giving it to Julius, it would also give him unneeded aerial coverage which he doesn't need 2. There is actually a cheat code that lets you make any save file have the "Clear" bat icon, but starting a clean NG+ run with it only really works with Soma, I think it's possible to make Hard mode able to be started from a clean file, like how AoS did it, we just need to look for the right offsets inside the ROM and the modify them 3. It is possible, but it would require hundreds of hours of assembly coding to do it without the game's source code, and I don't know how to code in assembly, so don't get your hopes up about seeing that ever happen

So I tried to find this gateway to the secret boss but no luck. Any tips? You can find the room transition somewhere at the long vertical room just before the Abaddon boss. You need succubus soul + Katar glitch to arrive the additional room transition in question. And make sure the patch version is Definitive Edition+ (v1.3).

Hello I have to report a issue about the added pickups in v2.0 . - If you picked the new Lance weapon pickup at Cursed Clock Tower first, the Chaos ring won't appear; the pickup ID of the new Lance weapon pickup at Cursed Clock Tower is the same as the original Chaos Ring pickup.
I'll dig further to see if there're newer ones. Good Luck!

It was I desperately want the DE+ changes to be accompanied with Japanese voice, but realized I have no choice bsesides working on Japanese rom so I learned a tiny bit of hex edit and hacking based on v1.3 and try to port DE+ traits onto Japanese rom myself, then one of my friends talked to me about the glitch of chaos ring in v2.0, then I extracted the patched DE+ rom, made the extracted archive readable on DSVania and did a quick analyze, found the issue is about the pickup ID. And the porting process was going steadily! About 90% of DE+ traits are already applied in the Japanese rom with only a few related to LCK fix, no magic seal in boss fight and melee attack ice-breaking not able to apply without knowing the related address in English US rom for referencing.

.xdelta file not working for (2.1). I try to patch with clean USA version bit its say "x not implemented:secondary patcher". I tried at www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/ Also i did try to patch another .xdelta patch (Castlevania DoS - Dawn of Shanoa) and its patched successfuly and work like a charm. Can someone explain me where im wrong with definitive edition+ or is just that xdelta file corrupted somehow?

Idk its allowed for nds file to be uploaded due copyright or etc but i already lose half a day trying to patch it ๐ like i writed before i manage to patch some other titles (tried gba roms and nds roms hacks) and i manage to do it normally, i really dont know what is wrong whem i try to patch this hack

Hello, just found a glitch(?) on Julius' animation when he's being knocked down in the air or landing from high, if Julius crashes on a nearby grounded enemy, he will cause damage to the enemy in question. This did not happen on either the unedited original or the v1.3 patch. Is it an intentional change or a simple bug?
