This is a small update to DPA's Team CV3 mod with permission. Trevor was lacking a few animations in my opinion and as I was messing with his sprite for something else and I thought I would update them.
I have added new walk, jump, double jump, back dash, down kick, super jump, standing\crouched damage and I replaced a number of frames. A new vampire killer sprite because I never liked the one in DoS. I also added the Holy effect to the Vampire Killer because it should have it imo and the dark effect to Alucard's Sword because I think it's fitting.
Folder includes a xdelta patch and a save (dsv) with Julius mode unlocked.
Credit: DPA for the awesome original. Serbagz for the Vampire Killer sprite. Castlevania 3 remake team and Elpegaso7 for the Trevor Sprite.
Edit: Link removed as DPA has released a new version that among other things adds my changes making this version no longer needed.

I honestly didn't put much though into it. I wanted to make Alucard a little bit better and by adding dark to his sword it gives him a boost but as a lot of enemies are either not vulnerable or are resistant to dark it wouldn't unbalance things.

Yes it is stated that it is his mother's family heirloom but of course it's great that the animated series back that fact up that it is his mother's family heirloom

I would actually argue that Dark element is very thematic for the Alucard Sword. Why?? Well, this is the son of Dracula we're talking about. And being the son of Dracula, Alucard naturally gets his own fair share of Drac's unnatural powers. Who's to say Alucard can't just infuse some of said powers into that sword? Indeed, that could very well be why the Alucard Sword's Critical Art strike is the way it is. This would easily be a case of dark power being used for good noble reasons.

Then again, maybe this is why it didn't have either Holy or Dark to begin with: IGA probably had a thought or two about whether he wanted the Alucard Sword to have anything special as far as damage attributes go. Seeing as it has remained purely Slash/Cut, even as late as Harmony of Despair... that's probably a question that should be saved for either him or Konami.
