I have to agree with IamMe. Boss rush mode is an extra mode to play for fun, locking off your magic makes it less fun. If they did this because they though Boss Rush would be to easy with magic then they should have made the mode harder by for example upping the bosses health, upping there damage, giving them resistances or hell having you fight multiple of the each boss at once. Lot of things they could have done rather then make it less fun. Not sure if that video is still on YouTube, buuuuut Esco's SOTN hacked OG project involved battle against two Akmodan units at once, that was correct way to rebalance the game & make it harder, while not turning player character into pathetic weakling.

You have never seen that footage? Akmodan got new abilities there as well. So yeah, that's a proper way to rebalance the game, adapt enemies to how strong player character is, not make player character into worthless underdog lol Obviously it's much bigger amount of work than making player character useless & have him to spam basic attack.

I am me this is true about his new attacks also I think because of his new attacks playing that game and having to fight that boss is just going to make the game a lot more fun because of his new attacks that he can do he seems to be doing this stuff with a lot of the bosses from Castlevania symphony of the night and I can't wait until it's finished do you happen to know if the game is going to be free or not

it's true that it would be cool to play a full version of Hugh in Castlevania circle of the Moon is all his abilities and be able to fight Nathan Graves with a totally playable hugh but then the fact is that even in harmony of dissonance maxim is not even a total playable character there are things that they didn't put into the game for that character that they should have just like they could have put the magic into boss Rushmore but here's the big kicker since we are a Castlevania community we got to say to hell with FUCKONAMI and actually do it ourselves also while we were talking about Castlevania has anybody seen esco new video for his Castlevania symphony of the night remake because that for example it's another thing that us as a Castlevania community could be doing we could just say to hell with Konami and actually remake Harmony of dissonance the way we want to just like he's making Castlevania symphony of the night Developers of CV games making tonns of mistakes, but that is not something unique to CV series. Most of games are unfinished in one way or another & have some content unused or left scrapped. For example SOTN with Richter costume not matching the art of the game (prologue not having proper ROB portrait), Albus not having his full list of skills, playable Julius's cross not working as a vacuum & many more. Big fan projects require tonns of effort & time to make. In the long run such are not very dependable. There is also Umbra Of Sorrow fan project looking very good. Also don't forget Esco using donations to make his project due to its quality. You can use any DS title such as DoS or PoR to remake HoD now, considering how much you can do with DSvania & Dark Function. But MAIN problem is lack of activity - laziness & uselessness of community, most people don't want to move their @sses & do a thing, believing someone have to make all the work & give them download link. Despite all the possibilities we have lol And for one person such amount of work is way too much, unless you either get paid or just willing to sacrifice your life time to make such a project. That's why we are here. To fix those mistakes. lol

So those hacks may never be public.

Without a team you may spent years making such a project.

Though some of our mods and hacks do come pretty close though.
