Did somebody ask a 100% Playthrough? View Attachment View AttachmentThe Shinespark ones where HELL, but kinda fun tho? Alright dudes, Metroid Prime is the next on the list, I was wanting to play with PrimeHack on Dolphin, but it doesn't run on my PC, I'll find some config that works with the mouse and keyboard and play it the DEFINITIVE WAY! Let's Gooo! Kudos, I still remember getting 100% during my middle school gba days and showing it to all my friends at recess, the memories.

The Stealth part of the game was really fun, too bad it didn't last long, it even looked like a Metal Gear haha, I don't know how they still didn't make a Hack where you play the whole game with Zero Suit Samus, getting upgrades for the pistol, and it would have the whip she uses in Smash Bros as a melee attack, and the Dash Boots (which would justify Power Ups like Screw Attack and Shinespark being possible without having any armor) would be too good to be true.

Sup dudes! It's been a while, well let's get to the news, my computer is so bad that it can't handle running the Prime series, both the Wii and Gamecube versions, so I was forced to continue without the prime series, being only Metroid 1, 2, 3 and 4. I tried to play original Metroid 2 and didn't finish, at first sight it looks easier or more linear than Metroid 1, doesn't it! It's a confusing, boring game and the soundtrack is pretty bad, I went straight to AM2R, and I don't regret it at all! it is infinitely superior and looks like a worthy successor to Zero mission, to me it looks much better than the 3DS remake, and also, the original GB game didn't have Ridley, the 3DS remake does, why? what was the need to insert Ridley into that? super unnecessary, and can someone explain to me what is the mecha Ridley Zero mission? like is it just a robot with his appearance or did he come back from the dead?! because he in the 3DS is kind of robotic. I loved the foreshadows for Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, and the dark, lonely setting and that base full of dead people and their latest messages, bro!! the fans gave it to the series, a whole lot of Lore that the games in the official franchise don't have! well, now it's time for Super Metroid! do you have any recommendations? or something i need to know about Metroid 3? Plus, ALL HAIL THE BABY METROID!

Plus, ALL HAIL THE BABY METROID! View Attachment Honestly, Super Metroid has always been my favorite of the Metroid series. The way the game plays out helped shape what we now call a MetroidVania game. There are some challenging things to it, yet the entire exploration and progression has a comfortable feel to it. There are literally SOOOOOO many rom hacks of this game that I wouldn't even begin to know which one to recommend after the original. I think Hyper Metroid, the Phazon Hack, and Ice Metal Uninstall were my favorites, but every one of them is on my PSP. If the patches were combinable, I did so. Though if you want a NGP experience like Metroid one, you will need the Justin Bailey Patch, as there is no suitless version of Samus in Super Metroid. Oh, and don't play Darkholme Hospital hack unless you have ALOT of freetime. It is extremely difficult to figure out. Happy Hunting!

I started playing Super Metroid a few days ago, and I'm LOVING it, it has everything to be my favorite Metroid! , I just hope nothing happens with baby Metroid, some texts on Fusion (which I had played years ago) suggest that the last one Metroid died, I hope it wasn't him. Plus, does anyone else feel like the biggest idiot for not knowing there was a run button?

Also if the last Metroid died then that good because then it's better than the alternative.

First of all, Press F to pay respect to Baby Metroid, who will always live in our hearts. With that, you must have already discovered that I... Beaten Super Metroid Woohoo! It's definitely one of my favorites, besides being the game that started the MetroidVania formula, so it deserves a lot of respect. the sprites are fantastic, and the reserve tanks, the Grappling hook and X-Ray are items I wanted to see more often in this franchise, I wanted to have completed it 100% like I did with the Metroid Zero mission and the AM2R, but I couldn't for a reason, the map. The map isn't bad but it's very confusing at times, the areas are massive and some of them can go straight to hell, I'M LOOKING AT YOU MARIDIA! at least I saved the animals. who knows next time I can? now the story was awesome, Samus blew up a F**kin Whole Planet! Zebes on top! and that Boss Battle at the end? very cool! now my next buddy on the list would be Fusion, but NO! I want to play before that hack that recreates the entire Super Metroid in Zero Mission, and see how it goes, and this one I can say that I will finish 100%! (because the map is infinitely better XD) Plus - Thanks XavierBelmont for telling me about the existence of the Hack. Attachments:

It turns out I'm not in the mood to play Super Metroid GBA, so I started Fusion and Wow!! it's so nostalgic for me, and the more story-centric narrative is the best thing about the game, we finally see the aftermath of the Metroid extermination caused by Samus, and Samus finally has a personality. it's so different to see this "Adam" again, after reading the manga, haha. I was just confused by one thing, Samus's new armor, it's intertwined with her body right? but when game over, her body appears, can she remove the armor or not?

No I don't think so as from what I gathered from the Japanese Metroid timeline I was reading that's really fusion is the last Metroid game that you must play in the series.

I think I didn't understand. Sorry sorry my phone auto corrected. What I was trying to say was based upon the Japanese timeline I was reading for Metroid that no the armor wouldn't actually come off as her armor is physically attached to her and won't come off. Because the timeline explains that metroid fusion is the last Metroid in the series that you must play.

I found that this website is a good place to find Metroid hacks. That different people have released that have come from different people all over the world.
