I was studying Pixel art, and during my practice, I made a pixel art of two users of this forum, who are they? Of course, these are edited Sprites. that is, they were made by other people, I just edited them. but I didn't miss the chance to post here. Juste Original sprite made by: Junki Sakuraba from Twitter. Simon Belmont sprite made by: Pato_Fanatico from Reddit.

Did an upgrade in XB's character sprite. in my opinion, looks much better More simple and less "Buffed", resembling more the original.

As they were made by two different people. One of them being myself.

I'm quite honored, seeing that you guys really liked. Of course, they could look better or at least be Original, But as I said before, they were made for fun and the study of pixel art. When it was time to practice a color study, I remembered StarWyvern's Painting of Necrosis, and decided to take a Juste sprite and paint the coat based on my studies. Then I created a StarWyvern! and then I think: Oh, why don't I do one of Xavier too? he's a really nice guy and he's always been helping out, giving his opinion and commenting on the threads, I'll make one! But I ran out of time and my teacher was going to scold me so I finished quickly, but I wasn't satisfied with the result, so I did it again later (But I still think I could improve it), because it was done in a hurry , I couldn't put all my Sprite Artist Talent in it! But like I said, it was for fun so I'm not going to worry about it. but it was so cool that I had to show you guys. But for you to see what I can do without haste, Here: This is Jade Lockhart. My Original Character and protagonist of my Book. So i ask to NOT steal or use her in anything, i'm very jealous of her . But i want your opinions dudes, which one is better? Without Outlines? with Black Outlines? Or Green Outlines? Say which one you guys liked more.

Does she have supernatural powers? These are a couple of questions that would help me better to answer the question that you were asking. As after all it's your story. I want to be able to go with the most logical choice. You know what I mean that way since it's your book then your story is actually going to make sense that you're writing when you show this is who it is in your book.

Actually, i already decided which one i liked more, hehe sorry for that. But i can give some minor specifications without spoilers. She fights using her fists and is a Pro in Kung-Fu. her favorite food is Yakisoba and her favorite band is The Police. She loves green. Detest princesses and dolls but is actually very feminine with a caring personality. (Although she can be a bit of a hothead and quite enthusiastic) I started to play The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky recently, and Estelle reminds me a LOT of Jade. Some fun inspirations: She wears Tifa Lockhart's gloves, Korra's Top clothing (from Season 4) and Jotaro Kujo's two belts. (But i only did one in the sprite XD.)

(But i only did one in the sprite XD.) okay when you mentioned that her favorite band was the police all I could hear in my head was the drummer singing no not this darkness again no not this creepy skin I'm down at the bottom again alone alone which is a set of lyrics from one of my favorite video game songs. Which was actually saying by the drummer of The Police. It was from the game alone the dark the new nightmare. In which the song was called alone in the dark. It was a song I actually came across when I put my disc into my PlayStation 3. Then my Playstation 3 told me that this disc has music data on it. So I figured okay it's bullshit just like when I put in resident evil 2 into the PlayStation 3 and it comes up that it has music data. So then I went and went over to the music section I went to the disc and then clicked on it. It told me that it had one track on it. Which is what resident evil 2 told me. So I figured yet again it was just some BS. But I went and imported it onto my Playstation 3 anyways and started it up after it was imported and it ended up playing a song. I got hooked on it and then I kept playing it over and over again since I was hooked on it and a family member of my asked me why I played it so much. One of the reasons why I played it so much was because of me realizing who was singing the song. The other was was that I loved the game. The last one was that the song was all around an amazing song. That man made a great composition when he made that song for the game. Because from what I've learned he was actually asked to do the music for that game and he happily accepted and told them that he was honored to do it. Because he played the previous alone in the dark games and he played the series quite a bit.

(Like throwing a paper ball in Sting's head) He was also the compositor of the Spyro game franchise. Plus, that's a pretty cool story bro

Personally, I have always enjoyed sprites with that natural, no outlines, look. In instances where an outline could not be removed for whatever reason, I liked Black outlines the best. Any other outline color just seems to draw attention away from the actual sprite details, at least for me. It is more of a distraction. However, in some instances, the Black outline can make the sprite look more sharp. Hope that helps.

Plus, that's a pretty cool story bro you know I almost forgot he was the composer for the Spyro video game music until you mentioned it. That is actually one of my favorite childhood games to play that I still play even today. Nightmare creatures is another. As when I want to get away from Resident Evil but still be kind of close to it I chose to play nightmare creatures.
