it's cool that you're taking a new approach to alucard. This Alucard doesn't look like it's Castlevania three counterpart. It slightly resembles symphony of the night version of Alucard though. But of course then again it's a new Alucard entirely too as you have alucard's hair as blonde instead of silver. I take it you took the idea of his hair being blonde from the Castlevania animated series. Instead of the actual game series. It looks cool keep up the great work!!!!

Thanks!, Yeah I was trying to make something more in line with his recent designs, and I settled on something I think works well in the game's style. Not quite sure what I'll do with the boss sprite, if anything yet.

That would be cool to see. That way gives the character a little more color and context to who he is. But this is just an idea. Again it still looks great.

If I recall, Alucard's boss sprite uses different palettes for the head and body, so I could use more colors. Working with the 3 color + transparency sprite limit is pretty hard. Here's a mockup of how it could look The one on the right is the closest I could get the colors, but the left let me extend the hair beyond the head sprite using the body. Ill have to add it to the game and see how it works from there.
