I was watching a randomized run from JupiterClimb recently and noticed a number of things. For one, the resolution was spectacular. None of the typical bilinear filtering that I assumed couldn’t be removed. Absolutely crisp pixels. Second, it had none of the borders, but also didn’t seem to have been stretched to hell and back. So I’m wondering, is there a mod that I’ve missed that fixes this? Is it simply an emulation perk and CFW users are still stuck with the usual? Definitely let me know, I’m curious.

I assume you are talking about SotN. The answer is emulation, you can do quite a bit thanks to it.
