Hey guys !!! Long time without any update, I have been busy with my life and others, the hack is still in progress slowly but surely. I am postponing several elements in the development waiting for new features of the DSvania editor so that I have worked on things a little more simple, not like naimating... that was driving me crazy. There are new menus and art of the characters that comes directly from my hand XD, I am not the same as our vet Kojima or the boy from the Umbra but I stand out XD new menu darker and with more saturated colors I personally find it more tetric and it combines better with the air of ´´son you are alone and in the wrong place´´ (for some reason it reminds me of blood omen) This is Daniela a girl who stole a hunter jacket from her family and went to the castle as soon as she saw it at the horizon, she is tough and impulsive, a veritable tomboy and sometimes an adorable girl. He recently learned the arts of hunting and seeks to put them to the test, it brings headaches to his brother and his poor grandfather. And this is our main character Azrael Montecruz that we already talked about. I made him a slight aesthetic change to make him stand out more from the background, since these are quite dark, now he wears white and red and is in a more striking pose since the previous one was quite normal.

heeey this week I dedicate myself a little to the weapons and achieve a basic pattern for the horizontal cutting weapons, with this I just have to modify it to fit the weapon of my preference As you can see 3 different ones, our already classics baselard and bastard sword and my own Ice Brand based on DoS's !!!!
Each one has different characteristics, the Basilard is shorter and faster than the Bastard Sword and the Ice Brand has more range and two colliders, one for the edge of the blade and one for the small frost blast that it does at the end.

I just wanna say its really coming out amazing!! I cant wait to try this out. The animation from the weapons sets are looking fluid and so far the background is looking like a real solid background. Just a side note or a recomendation. I noticed that most of the bgs are dark it would be nice if there was a slighr light contrast to bring more dark effect or to make it look sharp. but so far this looks crisp.

Hi guys, I'm still alive and working, just VERY SLOW because yeah, life sucks. New content arrives, new armor and for the first time in an AOS ROM a new type of weapon TWO-HANDED WEAPON (the real ones, not "those") ignore Jonathan until I don't finish the character sprites he will act as a sword holder Wish me luck to see if I do another update in less than a month and if I can get the first demo out before summer.

Just saw this now.... what a pretty work you've been doing! It feels like other game completely! Now that's a good Mod!
Do you know if there'a chance for an evolving weapon that scales power with a variable (or when coupled with another equip)? Examples from Sotn : * badelaire(scales with time played), * Masamune or Muramasa , I dont remember( scales with blood absorved/kills) * Familiar sword (scales with level of familiar) * Walk armor (ok, its an armor, but scales with map % completed)

As an example I can turn some x monster to have his only weak point in an specific place like the manticore only receive damage by hitting his tale. Or change some enemy that already throw bullets to throw giant bullets. Besides that require a knowledge and time that sadly I don't have.

I'm aiming to make a closed beta during summer with some enemies, the basic weapons and one or two castle areas. I just need the time to build the levels, is the only thing left in order to make a "decent beta" and try to join to the project people that actually know about hacking, I'm only a pixelartist, and I want some new stuff like a bigger stock for weapons and armors, usable items with special properties like emulate the Death ring that give you a ton of stats by setting your life to 1 or turn flying armor in a passive skill that make you glide as you keep pressed the jump button. Etc.

Havent seen much hacks that gives enemies only 1 hitbox/weakpoint. Thatll make the hack stand out more by making it difficult. Imaging zombie only having the head as a weak point or maybe the bosses only have 1 or maybe 2? I dont have any idea how long or how much work that is but yeah, interesting still. Goodluck with the hack. No need to rush it.

Here comes a monstruous update has been a while since i start this thing and looks like i have almost a 5% done lol. now im working with a new AoS ROM becaus all the old ones get fucking corruped messing with memory things and stuff. right no im almost finish 1st stage CASTLE CORRIDOR!!!!!! and is looking hell dope, is a shame that im showing this in such bad shape, the mosnters are ot moded yet, i dont add the custom UI I made, the menus are the old ones, and im playing with fucking jonathan, but i was SOOOOOOO!! ansious to show the progress so far.
So for the next update ill put the new monsters and menus as well the ui and other things (like the doors). the only thing will stay like a lot of time will be the good Jonathan as the sprite work of the main character will take a ton of time to finish.
LET'S MAKE CASTLEVANIA GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
