This is my favorite vania romhack out of all the vania romhacks out there. It is so well done, the balance, the spritework, I even enjoy the story. About half way done with the game, how far along is the sequel that you made? I have alot of cool ideas for Alucard in OOE and DoS if u ever wanna talk shop. I also have dumps of Alucards Harmony of Despair Spritesheets (and weapon sheets)...they have a few more animations then the DoS ones and the weps are already in a DS friendly format. castlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/4/alucard-story-mode-hack-sorrow

Puedes buscar todo esto en YouTube que hay cientos de tutoriales explicando en proseso

Sorry for the late reply, I do not mind if you customize my mods so long as credit to me the original author is always given no matter where you release it. Feel free to make your own topic for the release, I removed your download link here since I want you to make your own separate topic for it since it deserves as much.

DarkPrinceAlucard, I have a request, can you improve Alucards sprites Improve how? These Alucard sprites where made from scratch by Jop/Drameloch to fit the gba style of spriting and he did a great job on it in my opinion so I'm confused by what you want me to "improve" for them.

Just so you know DPA, I thought it was a great hack as well. Maybe he just wants to see some different animations added but I am just spitballing here so...

Im sorry dear admins if I got you all confused, I didnt meant to cause confusion, btw starwyvern got me of my point, just wondering if you could improve alucards movement animations just a little like how he moves in SOTN or in DOS thats all,it just got bothers me when Im digging some CV hacks on YouTube, Ive found one video of the hack(but got erased anyway)of similar to Dawn of Symphony hack, his Alucard moves just like in SOTN so I did a reply when someone finally updated a topic about this hack,if Impossible please no worries Im fine with it. Dawn of Symphony hack is one of CV gba hack I've enjoyed playing the most and it is one the best that Im still playing nowadays. I'll appreciate to all who did their best making this hack and its great. Again, dear admin DarkPrinceAlucard Im really sorry if I got you confused and so to others, please don't get mad. Long live Castlevania. (Sorry again for this long detailed reply) ☺️

Long live Castlevania. (Sorry again for this long detailed reply) ☺️ No need for all the apologies, As I said these sprites where custom made so obviously its not going to look and move like SOTN, Myself and Jop/Drameloch both thought it would be great to work with new and custom sprites to better fit the size of the gba sprites and I can only speak for myself but the goal was never to do a spot for spot copy of his SOTN sprites/animations but to try something different while still having him be the Alucard we love. Have a look at this hack for example, www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae-Eoxxn5XEThis hack uses the SOTN sprites not resized and he moves like he does in SOTN because of it but the issue comes in when you compare how large the PSX,SNES, or DS sprites are in comparison to GBA which is the main reason custom sprites in my opinion work better since the only way to possibly make it work would be to resize them which will cause them to lose the graphics quality no matter what hence this version, www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FjL2i7kPAESo once again I'll point out these are custom made sprites that are different from the SOTN ones and because of that your not going to see this Alucard moving like he does in SOTN due to that not being the goal and that not being how they where made.

Welp I have the solution in both situations: If you want to use the PSX alucard in his native size you will need to upscale all the other elements in the game (like im doing in my hack ᕙ(@°▽°@)ᕗ) If you want to rescale alucard to get a AoS proportions size you can ask to someone to fix the broken pixels and clean the animations, last year I was trying a GBA Alucard doing that process and it was going pretty well with pretty accurate animations for walk jump and attack. The last one is the most simple but I swear the the first is the most satisfying, I'm getting crazy doing it because I'm such a perfectionistic sucker and I want to add new enemies and most of all the new content is custom, even the edited content is heavily changed, but a graphic mod that use tilesets extracted directly from SotN or DoS is not that hard to make
