How did you change the music? And do you think it is possible to combine this with Yuutsuki no Fantasia as a psuedo-sequel. Maybe add more new music.

I actually have sappy2006. But everytime I try to swap music from one cv to another through midtoagb, after using sappy to rip the mids from the games, they end up either crashing the program or sounding really bad. I would like to port other songs to my copy of dawn of symphony to replace the original from waterway and cemetery. Songs from HOD Chapel, Entrance, Marble Corridor, VK2K, and songs from Cotm Aquarius, Chapel of Fate, Awakening, Sinking Old Sanctuary. I can't get sappy to make mids of these songs. They won't rip right. Also I am having compatibility issues with combining ips patches: yuutsuki no fantasia and dawn of symphony.

Try various instruments to get result to your liking, but in the end its not like porting music to PSP or more modern console.

Holly shit, this mod is a master piece! The story its pretty cool till where I got (50% of the caslte). I'm loving to play this mod, every second of it. I just have a few questions:
*Just bare in mind that I don't play AoS for a long time now, sorry if a question is to simple:
1-> Did you tweak the luck system? Some enemies drops there souls pretty easy, but some are almost impossible, and I'm using Rare Ring + Ghost Dancer Soul + Alucart Mail. Persefone never drop her soul and I Killed a lot this enemy. The Witch enemy too.
2-> The luck system were that high in the original game? The combo: Rare Ring + Ghost Dancer Soul + Alucart Mail gives almost 270 luck
3-> I loved symphony of the night music that you put in the game, specially the Marble gallery. But castle entrance got really low quality in AoS. Did you changed the music, or they were the original in AoS game?
4-> Alucart mail is new in your mod, or had in Aria of Sorrow original game?
Thanks again for this mod. Just to see Maria, Richter, Shaft and other characters were cool enough, but the story is awesome! I'm loving it!

Some questions you may have to run by caminopreacher since he as the one in charge of editing for the new games stats which where indeed changed to give this game a different experience than the regular one in Aria of Sorrow since the goal at the time was to make this as different as a experience possible from the original Aria of Sorrow so fans who have already played it had something new and different. 1. I'd have to suggest this question towards caminopreacher since he would be better at answering it 2. The luck system definitely was tweaked here and there for certain items so it is different form the original AOS game 3. No that is the same track from Symphony of the Night and was not present in the original AOS, the thing with music hacking for GBA games is that there is no way to simply add the music as it originally sounds and have it play the same on a GBA sound format since you have to use those instruments that are present in the game, also you have to adhere to the number of instruments that are used in the original game which means certain instruments and notes from tracks from other games have to be removed and thus the "quality" can suffer because of this. It required me to manually edit each of the new track's instruments that I added to the game and even then this required testing to make sure it sounded as presentable as possible because trust me when you import it without adjusting those instruments to fit AOS that soundtrack sounds MUCH more terrible lol, so the end result was while some tracks turned out great and fit such as Marble Gallery and Sinking Sanctuary for instance others such as Castle Entrance and Bloody Tears while not bad simply did not have quality I would have liked. 4. Alucart mail is new as is a lot of the items and weapons in this game.

Just an update about the game here: It's totally playable on Wii U console via Retroarch homebrew. No problems so far (70% of the game done).

good morning., I found a bug when the character Alucard goes to fight without weapons and the punch gets bugged and has the error of the Buer soul too

I never use the punch hence why I overlooked/did not care to much to replace Soma's punch arm with a Alucard one lol. Weird thing about Aria of Sorrow is things like the heavy swords and punches use different sprites for each and every one of their weapons and while I took the time to correct the heavy swords one by one I did not feel the need to do the same for the punches since a. most people do not use them and b. I did not have the desire to bother with them.

This is my favorite vania romhack out of all the vania romhacks out there. It is so well done, the balance, the spritework, I even enjoy the story. About half way done with the game, how far along is the sequel that you made? I have alot of cool ideas for Alucard in OOE and DoS if u ever wanna talk shop. I also have dumps of Alucards Harmony of Despair Spritesheets (and weapon sheets)...they have a few more animations then the DoS ones and the weps are already in a DS friendly format.
