I truly consider SOTN best CV game to date, especially PSP version, thanks to playable Maria & its portability. But there always was one HUGE problem & serious developers mistake. And that is Richter`s outfit. Not only its outdated & not look SOTN esque, but its simply not matches game`s portraits (Konami laziness). So thanks to Serio, who made awesome custom sprite & Esco, who started, but never finished his PSX mod, I got a chance to import new Richter into PSP SOTN game, which I successfully did. In prologue Richter uses old RoB style costume. update version with music castlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/177/castlevania-symphony-night-music-mod

Hi I am Me i´ve see now this isohack, is there any chance to make this tool in this video work in this game? I just want to make controls for Richter Skills more simplified. All Credits goes to CGH. www.mediafire.com/?7xxn2544l0vbaxw/Password: CGH

But thanks. yeah this would actually have to be created but if you wanted to play the PlayStation 1 version of Castlevania symphony of the night and use this it would work perfectly I know I've used it and it works great

Hey I am Me, awesome work on this mod. Is there a newer version of it? I've been playing it on the Vita, but I feel the BGM volume seems too high and sometimes even distorted.

I do have a hacked Vita myself, so if you can mention exact moment when music errors happen, I can try to test it out. I am using 3.60 with Adrenaline. On PC I have not encountered any music errors, despite made a hour long video. As for vlume being loud, I like music to be louder than voices, while SOTN lack detailed setting for that. As for any new versions, why not make one yourself? We already disscussed the process of editing music & voices in DXC, there should be enough of info to start with :-D castlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/180/cactlevania-dracula-chronicles-modding-tutorialcastlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/212/sotn-psx-dub-restoration

Sorry for posting in a very old thread, but is there a version of this mod without any music mods? Just the Richter sprite?

I just tried that, and it didn't work - UMDgen shows an error (something about Lba positions?). I tried ripping the "ps" folder from your rom and inserting into the vanilla game - same thing. I don't know what's causing the issue, I don't know UMDgen because I've never used the program before, and I don't know how to fix any of it. I also noticed that not only did you cut out Rondo and Peke, your modified ROM doesn't even work: SotN has no sound effects in the main menu, and when you either start a new game or load a save file, the game shows a black screen, making SotN effectively unplayable. It'd be greatly appreciated if you could make a version of the mod with just the new Richter sprite with everything else left untouched. EDIT: Alternatively, you could just post a folder with the Richter sprite, instead of the original music.
