Would be funny if there could be a wrong choice during the dialogue that would lead to game over XD

Reminds me of Golden Sun how you can choose to say no at the beginning and it results in game over, lol.

Would be funny if there could be a wrong choice during the dialogue that would lead to game over XD Suddenly, I feel all the more glad every time Death shows up, he feels it better to manipulate the characters into doing what he desires rather than just ROFL-coptering them on the spot. Ain't nobody got the know-how to negate cutscene deaths XD

Mainly PSX. I personaly don't see any reason to keep playing this version, because we have Saturn & PSP SOTN, them both are better.

SOTNPSX was the first game I got when I bought my PSX. This was back before PSP or PS2 even existed. After playing it to D-E-A-T-H, (HA Puns!) I found out not too long after about the Saturn version. And Bought a copy of it and an STKEY for my Saturn allowing me to play J games. This was my first experience at making "illegal" games work on actual hardware. O'course now we have PSP and VITA Soft Mods with no chance of Brick. And the R4 Carts for DS. Making every system that ever existed into a portable version you can take with you. We can now play any game anywhere! So for nostalgic purposes, sure I would redownload my psn version and plug some casual cheats like infinite MP into it for a speedrun, Just to see all of the glory of the original cutscenes, music, GFX, all on there own original hardware and softwhere. My favorite version is of course my own at the moment, DXC Remix of the Night - PSP.

Voices can be edit to old English dub from psx as well. Cheats can be made as well, it's not harder than making it for psx one. Only thing making a difference is speed run tricks, but you can find new ones, if you try hard enough. Let alone the fact even psx OG JP SOTN is less of a buggy mess than USA one, for example Richter have a working power up skill there. I'm enjoying my definitive SOTN with two costumes for Richter, fixed power up, native voices, ability to access Alucard's unique bosses as both Maria & Richter, music from CV HD & many more now, I basically got all I wanted in SOTN. Only thing left is to add Richter his awesome maniac laugh during some attacks lol

It would be nice if PSP Maria retained the Saturn attacks (uber fun and op)

It would be nice if PSP Maria retained the Saturn attacks (uber fun and op) ATM we can't make that from scratch. However we may be able to add Maria a custom buff with her four beasts that she uses in the prologue & sub weapons from Richter. Honestly I can't stand tapping twice run thing Saturn Maria have. So glad I made auto run for Richter lol

Other stuff works through RAM or CWCheat. castlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/177/castlevania-symphony-night-music-modcastlevaniamodding.boards.net/board/49/psp-castlevania-modificaiton-releasesAs for English dub on PSP, I showed an example and posted info on "how to" castlevaniamodding.boards.net/thread/212/sotn-psx-dub-restorationI'm personally not interested in making this, I play with native voices & never considered English dub suitable, especially Alucard.

Ah... you meant them seperately. I thought you had combined them.

Ah... you meant them seperately. I thought you had combined them. All works for a single latest rom with music, so you only need one ISO.

Yeah the music mod is pretty nice. Personally, I would add some covers and remastered versions from youtube videos , it was a thing I wanted, specially for gba cv games (Harmony of Dissonance, looking at you!)

If you mean porting those tunes into SOTN, it's easy. Or in DXC. But if you want new music in GBA titles, OG quality of modern tracks hardly can be preserved. Come to think of remixes M&K rock ones were great. I made a mod for DXC with Smash tunes
